Paul Daniel Harper, known affectionately as "Danny," was born on January 7, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on October 16, 2024, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Danny a beloved family man with a heart of gold who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Danny graduated from Grove City High School, class of 1977, and spent much of his life working on cars, a hobby he greatly enjoyed. He cherished spending time with his family and was especially fond of fishing and camping. Memories made with his son, Lyle, include attending WWE shows, participating in Nascar events, and going fishing together, highlighting the strong bond they shared. In his downtime, Danny found joy in watching old westerns, a reflection of his character and interests.
He is survived by his brother, Mark (Shannon) Harper; his son, Lyle Harper; and his sisters, Kathy Tatman and Mary Sellers. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Lyle Harper, his mother, Lola McGuire, his sister Sandy Cupp, Brothers James Climer, and Raymond Harper.
Visitation will be held on October 24, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a funeral service from 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
