Paul Hogsten Obituary
Paul was known for his love of gardening and his cherished 1955 Ford. His passion for tractors and old cars was evident to all who knew him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with friends and family. After retiring, he returned to his roots in Kentucky, where he continued to enjoy his hobbies and spend time with his loved ones.
Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cindy Morgan Hogsten; his sons, Paul Hogsten Jr. and Steven Hogsten (Crystal); daughters, Connie Lepore (Sam) and Theresa Hogsten; brothers, Monroe and Jimmy; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Nicholas, Gavin, Alora, Hunter, Stephanie, Ashley, Kaylee, and Jasmine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Beatrice; sister, Victoria Phillips; and brother, Gilbert Hogston.
Visitation for Paul will begin Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral to begin Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM with John Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Paul's life was marked by his resilient spirit, warm heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. His family and friends will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with the same zest and kindness that he exemplified.
