Survivors include his wife, Sherry Lee Horwitz; daughter, Tracie Lynn Horwitz; grandson, Joshua Wayne Horwitz; and sister, Karen Sue Harris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Wayne Horwitz.

A graveside service of Mr. Horwitz will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Kol Israel Cemetery, 2990 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
