Paul Hurlburt Obituary

He was born March 18, 1938, in Ada, to Paul and Donna Hurlburt, Sr., who preceded him in death. On October 26, 1957, he married Joan Marie Burden who survives.
Also surviving are their daughters: Michelle (Perry) Stemen of Lafayette and Julie Ann Hall of Lima; Grandchildren, Eric Hall and Luke (Lynn) Hall; Step grandchildren, Mindy Kimmet and Brent (Sara) Stemen; Great-grandchildren, Braylon, Allyssa, Jeremy, Jaxson, Jordon, AbreeAwna, Peyton, Raelynn and Reed.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Gaberdiel, a brother Joe Hurlburt and a half-brother, Ray Hurlburt.
Paul retired in 1999 as the manager of Big A Auto Parts. He and Joan were members of Union Chapel Missionary Church and volunteers at Lima Memorial Health Systems. He was an avid fisherman and loved watching NASCAR.
His funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
