Age 75, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, at United Memorial Hospital in Batavia, NY. Born on July 7, 1949, in Canandaigua, NY, Paul was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

Paul graduated from Warsaw Central High School and proudly volunteered to join the Army during the Vietnam War, later being stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he utilized the GI Bill to earn an associate degree from Genesee Community College.

Paul dedicated 27 years of service to the New York State Department of Corrections, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant before retiring. He was a respected and committed member of his profession.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann; his children, Tom (Shannon), Ryan (Kim); stepchildren, Tanni (Mike) Bromley, and Jennifer (Shawn) Schott; his grandchildren, Delaney, Allie, Brendon, Eli, Adyson, Holynn, and Peyton; and his siblings, Fred, Debby (Burg), Doug, Jimmy, and Gary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Elizabeth (Polly) Ingles (Kemp).

Paul was a collector of many things and a dedicated member of the Warsaw Fire Department and the American Legion. He was also a passionate community volunteer who enjoyed gardening. Paul will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and playing Santa at Christmas.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 1 PM on November 2nd at the Warsaw Fire Hall. In honor of Paul’s love for sports memorabilia and his favorite teams—the Yankees, Raiders, and Bills—attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s jersey and be ready to share a story. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Paul’s memory.
