Canandaigua – Robert S. Younger, age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, while surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 66 year, Romona (Crane) Younger; three sons, Jeffrey (Ann) Younger, Todd (Kathryn) Younger and Timothy (Sharon) Younger; six grandchildren, Robert, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Abigail, Cole (Lexi) and Ryan; great-granddaughter, Brooke; sister, Ann Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob grew up in Warsaw, NY and was a graduate of Warsaw High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Clarkson University. Bob worked as a Civil Engineer. He was a US Army veteran. Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Canandaigua Country Club. He enjoyed hiking and woodworking. Bob and Romona loved spending their winters in Arizona.
Friends may call Monday, July 22, from 4-6pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Private interment with military honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 10727, Rochester, NY 14610. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com

Bob was a very special man who will be missed. If he runs into Marty (Croney) in heaven (or wherever they land) there will certainly be a good- hearted ruckus from two men who walked to first grade together!
