Paul Stephen Johnson, age 54 of London, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the husband of Melissa (Scott) Johnson and the son of Harley Elijah Johnson and Sharon Sue Wright. He was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on August 16, 1970.
He is preceded in death by his father Harley Elijah Johnson, step-father, Daniel Douglas Wright, Uncle, Larry Wagner, brothers, Tommy Steven Johnson and Danny Wright, Jr. and his grandparents.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife Melissa Johnson, his mother, Sharon Sue Wright, daughter, Mahalie Johnson, son, Tyler Johnson, sisters, Linda Mills and husband Tony, Victoria Smith and husband Travis and Sandy Wright and husband Stacey Simmons, brother, Harley Johnson and wife Elizabeth, his step-mother, Kathleen Johnson and his best friend Greg McDonald. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Paul Johnson will be conducted on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Lawson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Roger Berry, Jason Petry, James Davis, and Tony Mills. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
