Paul Edward Jones, Jr., age 37, passed away on July 25, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose quick wit, humor, and warm spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Born on March 18, 1988, Paul proudly served his country as a member of the United States Armed Forces before retiring from military service. After retirement, he followed his deep love of learning by attending Oklahoma State University, where he earned several degrees. He had plans to return to school to pursue a master's degree with the goal of becoming a librarian.
He lived big and loved big. Paul had many passions in life, including his beloved cats, reading, tennis, fishing, food, travel, video games, finance, and more. He found joy in the things he loved-and even more in sharing them with others. He was always excited to talk about what he cared about, and he had a special gift for inspiring curiosity in those around him.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Sr., and his brother, Kevin. He is survived by family and many friends who will miss his kindness, humor, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to the people and passions that meant so much to him.
A private memorial will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local library or veterans' organization in his memory.
