Paul Neil Kjeldsen, 68, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 in his home. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Paul was a graduate of Southport High School and a proud "Southsider." Paul was employed by Sysco Food Services for 30 years and was self-employed (PJK Enterprises) doing home renovations for 15 years. Paul was an excellent cook who loved entertaining at family gatherings. He dearly loved his dogs, Bernie, Eleanor, Sox and Zeus, plus his favorite, Jude.
Paul is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 41+ years, Joan Teipen Kjeldsen; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Kjeldsen and Karen Christine Kjeldsen Warren (Brandon); and granddaughter Kiley Mae Waterman. In addition to many friends, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Paulette Kjeldsen; cousins Don (Cathy) Conrad, Dave (Karen) Conrad, Larry (Corinne) Kjeldsen, Lisa Ingels Wetzel and Scott Ingels, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James George and Betty Ann Kjeldsen, and brother Kenneth James Kjeldsen.
A special celebration of Paul's life is scheduled for Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care-Greenwood, located at 2433 E. Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana.
Memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rosie's Southside Animal Rescue or a charity of your choice.
