Paul K. Lilly, Jr. passed away suddenly on June 28, 2025. He was 52 years old. Paul was born on April 5, 1973, to Paul K. Lilly Sr. and the late Lenore Rizzo. He is the beloved husband of Kathy Lilly (nee Ukalovic) and loving father of Paul III, Anthony and Nicholas. Paul is a loving brother, he has 6 siblings. He was especially close to his sisters Paula Rios (Henry), Michele Lilly and brother John Lilly (Erin). He is the loving son-in-law of Ante and Nevenka Ukalovic. Paul is the loving brother-in-law of Anita Dundovic (Milan) and Sonja Ukalovic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Paul attended Joseph H. Brown School, Austin Meehan Middle School and Abraham Lincoln High School. He has been a proud member of the Philadelphia Carpenter's Local 158 for the past 26 years. Paul was a master woodworker, he learned the skill through his work with the Amish.
Paul loved everything about being a Philadelphia sports fan, he was a true Phillies fan. He embodied everything about being from Northeast Philly. Paul loved to listen to Sports Talk radio on his way to and from work. He loved the family's dog Bella. He would take her for a walk as soon as he got home from work, it was the happiest part of her day. He loved to feed the birds. Paul was a great cook. He never followed a recipe and measured everything with love. If he prepared you a meal, he would always plate your food. Paul made sure that everyone else was always taken care of before he ever sat down. He always loved to reminisce about his childhood days.
Paul loved his family. He shared a love of music with his brother John. Paul looked forward to calling his sister Paula every Sunday on his way to the supermarket.
Kathy was the love of his life, they were married for 23 years. Paul's whole world revolved around his three sons. He loved nothing more than cheering for his boys at Rhawnhurst and Father Judge games. He instilled in his children a strong work ethic.
Paul will always be remembered for his kindness, compassion, strength, unwavering loyalty and his deep love for his family and friends. He will be greatly and forever missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, July 7th from 6 to 8pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila Pa 19115. There will be another visitation on Tuesday, July 8th from 9 to 9:45am at the Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Interment William Penn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations in his name to either or the .
