Paul Menefee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Murray Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. - Cascade Chapel on Dec. 11, 2025.
Paul Morris Menefee III, fondly known as Pooh Bear by the family, age 52, left
his earthly body and gained a pair of angel wings on December 1, 2025. He was
born on January 9, 1973, to Margaret and Paul Menefee Jr. in Syracuse, New York.
The family shortly moved to Cape Cod, Mass then settled down in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was the first born welcomed to their union.

Paul III was educated in Southwest Atlanta attending Ben Hill United Methodist
Church Daycare, Richard N. Fickett Elementary School, Ralph Bunche Middle School,
and Westlake High School. He furthered his education by attending Alabama A & M
University, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Paul III loved the Lord. He joined Pine Street Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia during
his formative years. He was baptized, attended service and learned the teachings of
the bible. As an adult, he later joined Greater Turner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal
Church, Atlanta, Georgia.

Paul III loved sports. He developed a love for sports as a child. He participated in football,
basketball, and baseball leagues at Ben Hill Park and Recreation, Welcome All Park, and
Sandtown Park. He was a fan of all New York teams.

Paul III was an entrepreneur. Professionally, he worked as a Barber and later developed
a Mobile Barbering Business. He worked with his Father in The Real Estate Business and
Residential Repairs. Paul had a great passion for music/music production, working with
College Friends, Michael and Derrick Crooms and others.

Paul III now leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted parents Margaret and
Paul Menefee, Jr., brother, Rodrick M. Menefee. He is also survived by his fiancé Damika
Johnson, daughters, Andrea M. Menefee and Saniya Frazier, grandchildren, Zion and
Austin, God-Father Harry Bronson, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Paul III ("Pooh") our Beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, we will miss you.
Paul's life was a gift to us all. Though we miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing
that he is with the Lord, watching over us, and that his love will continue to shine in our
hearts forever. His memory will live through the lives he touched, the love he shared, and
the faith he held so deeply. Rest in peace Paul until we meet again.
