DE'SHA K. RILEY (LIL MUFFIN OR BUG) WAS BORN ON FEBRUARY 22, 2002, IN CRAWFORD LONG HOSPITAL TO DEXTER RILEY AND SUSAN MATTHEWS. DE'SHA ATTENDED CAPITAL VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN ATLANTA, GA.
SHE AND HER FAMILY THEN MOVED INTO THE FULTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, WHERE DE'SHA ATTENDED STONEWALL TELL ELEMENTARY, SANDTOWN MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND WESTLAKE HIGH SCHOOL, WHERE SHE RECEIVED HER HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA.
WHILE AT WESTLAKE DE'SHA SERVED AS THE WHS BASEBALL MANAGER, WESTLAKE DANCE AUXILIARY MEMBER, AND MIGHTY MARCHING LION/BLUE REIGN BAND MANAGER. UPON GRADUATION, DE'SHA ENROLLED IN PAUL MITCHELL HAIR SCHOOL, ATLANTA, GA, MAJORING IN COSMETOLOGY, AND EARNED HER COSMETOLOGY LICENSE. DE'SHA WAS EMPLOYED AT CHANGE HEALTHCARE AS A MEDICAL RECORDS SPECIALIST BEFORE BEING CALLED HOME TO GLORY TO BE WITH THE LORD.
DE'SHA WAS A SWEET SOUL WITH A SINGING VOICE AS BEAUTIFUL AS HER MOTHER'S. SHE WAS LOVED BY SO MANY AND MEANINGFULLY TOUCHED THE LIVES OF EVERYONE WHOSE PATH SHE CROSSED. PRECEDING HER IN DEATH ARE HER GRANDPARENTS, LUVATE RILEY, BLANCHE WINSTON MATTHEWS, AND JAMES K. MATTHEWS-ONE GODMOTHER, RASHONDA JACKSON.
