Paul Nguyen passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, April 12, 2025, at the age of 45 in his home in Modesto, California. He was born in the same city on January 09, 1980, to parents, Tuan Nguyen and Ha Vu. Paul has been a resident of Modesto most of his life.
Paul is survived by his loving parents, Tuan Nguyen and Ha Vu; son Collin Nguyen; and his son's mother, Stevie. He also leaves behind many other family members, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss him. Paul had a natural sense of adventure, a great sense of humor, and a love for good food and the ocean. He loved skateboarding, riding an electric scooter, flying an electronic drone, gaming, and working on computers. Paul could see value and purpose in everything and everyone. He was incredibly giving to others even when he had very little. Above all else, he loved his family with everything he had. Paul's passing leaves an empty space in our hearts, but our pain is eased in knowing he has moved on to a place of peace. He will be greatly missed by all of us and never forgotten.
A Visitation service for Paul is scheduled on Thursday, May 8 from 6:30-9:15 am at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home McHenry Chapel (1050 McHenry Avenue in Modesto, CA). A Funeral Mass is scheduled after the viewing at 10 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1813 Oakdale Road in Modesto, CA) followed by a Witness Cremation service scheduled at 12:00 pm at Valley Crematory (550 S. Central Avenue in Tracy, CA).
