Paul Norris

Paul Norris, born on September 23, 1934, in Alton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, in Fairburn, Georgia, at the age of 90. Paul dedicated many years of his life working as a Line Production Assistant at Owens Illinois Glass Company, where he retired with respect and admiration from his colleagues. His commitment to his work was matched by his devotion to his faith as a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Norris. He is survived by his loving children, Dennis Norris (Donna), Laura Daniel (Dan), and Sharon Arthur (Toney). Paul also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Melissa Norris, Darrell Norris (Sherry), Jake Arthur (Ashleigh), and Jenna Arthur. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Ryan Norris (Alli), Lani Norris, Dennis Norris, and Alivia, Alton, and Adalynn Arthur. Paul is also survived by his siblings, Thomas Norris (Danese), Ralph Norris, and Karen Burleson (Ted). Family and friends are invited to honor Paul's memory during a funeral service on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11 o'clock at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Following the service, interment will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 722 Conley Rd, Forest Park, GA 30297 at 2 o'clock. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, where a rosary will commence at 6:30, followed by a vigil at 7:00 p.m. Paul Norris will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family, his work, and his faith. May he rest in eternal peace.
