In Loving Memory of Paul E. Putnam
Paul E. Putnam was born on June 3rd 1941 and laid to rest on August 14th 2024. Paul was an affectionate, dedicated, and hard working induvial who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. Born in Port Henry, New York, he moved to Vermont where he made his home and was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit, and witty sense of humor. Paul was a faithful member of his church for many years and was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer his words of comfort to whomever needed it. Additionally, he was an Army Veteran and went on to manage at Forest Hills, GE, and General Dynamics. He married his beloved wife, Carolyn Putnam. Paul's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered, and his passing will be mourned deeply. We find comfort in the reunion he has found with his father, mother, siblings, and his son Todd Putnam.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Putnam; his devoted children, Paul E. Putnam II and Taylor Gonzales, Lynn Smith Heinaman and Stephen, Buddy Putnam, Kelly Putnam; his sister Lynn Evans; his two bonus daughters, Julie Robare and her husband, Terry, and Bonnie and Matt Husk; his best friend, Pastor Mike. Paul also leaves behind many other beautiful cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

I use to visit friends at the same bldg and floor as some friends and as I went in to the lobby I saw boxes from NUTS Co. and always knew they were for Paul because he always fed his friends the birds and squirrels. It was always fun to talk to him and always appreciated me bringing the box up. My sincere condolences go out to the family may he forever be in everyone´s hearts.

As the obituary reads, Paul was a giver. He gave of his time, his encouragement but most of all, he shared his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Just as Paul trusted Jesus, he wanted all to know Him as well.
The last time I saw Paul was on a trip to VT a couple years ago. Although I hadn't seen in just over 30 years, his attitude about life, his winsome smile, his love of his family and the Lord shined through. He will indeed be missed.

He used to visit us all the time when we were kids then as adults he would come to visit after I had my oldest child he used to help me understand religion and what it all meant. He gave me an elephant one time because he knew I liked them. He was one of the most amazing men in my life.
