Rochester, NY – June 11, 1952 – September 25, 2025. Paul, known to many as Skinny or Mr. Clean, lived a life marked by hard work and simple joys. One of his many accomplishments includes providing professional production services to the Rochester music community. He loved anything to do with transportation: trains, sailboats, cars, and big rigs. He will be missed by all who knew him. The bonds of friendship were a cornerstone of Paul's life, and the love and support he received from his friends were a testament to the person he was. Paul's family by choice includes John V, Beckie L, Mike W, Todd M, Randy S, John H, Brian P, and Stephen T, among many others. He also loved his many canine friends, especially Shiloh and Henri. Survived by brother Dirk Schumacher and sister Sally Brown, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Father, Paul B. Schumacher Sr., and Mother Fern Schumacher, sisters Anne, Suzi, and brother Jimmy.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held by invitation. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society (1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620) or URMC Hospice care.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
Please consider a donation as requested by the family.
