Paul Michael Spink

Paul Michael Spink, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 7, 2025. Born on June 22, 1979, Paul lived a life full of laughter, warmth, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He was the life of the party in every room he entered-quick to crack a joke, offer a hug, or make sure everyone felt included. His laughter filled the room and was contagious.
Paul dedicated over 20 years to teaching, most recently at Lassiter Middle School, where he was not only an educator, but a mentor, and friend.
A proud and passionate Kentucky Wildcats fan, Paul rarely missed a game. He loved cheering on his team and sharing that excitement with family and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Spink.
Above all, Paul cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue (Justice) Spink; his children, Maxton and Harper Spink; his step children, Bryson and Brenna Brown; his parents, Thomas Paul and Vicki Lee (Theabald) Spink; Sister, Stephany (Derrick) Arnett; nephew, Hunter Arnett; and a neice, Haley Arnett.
He was deeply loved by many, and the memories of his laughter, generosity, and big-hearted spirit will continue to live on in everyone who knew him.
His funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. His visitation will be from 1 – 7 p.m. prior to the service at Ratterman's Funeral home.
