Paul C. Tenney, Jr passed away into heaven on July 6th, 2025.
He leaves a grieving family, including daughter Alicia Bauer (Jason) and grandchildren Brenda, Matthew, and Emily of St Petersburg as well as sisters Brenda (Jim) Savage, Janet (Brad) Kurtz and his brother, Brent Tenney of Ohio. He will be dearly missed by all including his many nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.
Paul Jr was born in Ohio on January 24th, 1952 to loving parents, Paul C Tenney Sr. and mother Ada Tenney who surely greeted him with joy in heaven. Paul grew up in Ohio then moved to Florida in 1980 where he worked and retired from Pinellas County Water Department. Paul shared his love of fishing with his family and friends. He could often be found at the oceans edge on a Pier. He loved making others happy. He would share a funny joke with a cashier and when they laughed he would walk away. It was enough for him to brighten someone's day. Paul welcomed visitors with a spread of delicious food that always brought delight. He loved doing magic tricks for kids and at family reunions would bring laughter and entertainment. He was truly a wonderful man.
Paul attended Park Street Baptist Church in St. Petersburg with his family and friend Cindy. His faith and trust in a loving God grew deeper and deeper. He often lamented that everyone should know Jesus! In our loss we are comforted by the memories of a kind, fun, generous, thoughtful and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Memorial Services will be planned at a later date in Florida and Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Park Street Baptist church in St. Petersburg Florida or to The Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Paul's nephew Drew Maglio.
