Paul Elton Wolcott, age 85, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 1, 1939, in Sharon, PA, Paul was the son of the late Richard M. and Wilma L. (Crichton) Wolcott. He was also preceded in death by his sister Leslie E. (Wolcott) Dripps and her husband Frank J. Dripps; his grandson Marcus A. Lindstrom; his son-in-law Paul F. Kraft; dear friends Ray and Colleen Sieklucki; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Paul married the love of his life, Nancy L. (Suddoth) Wolcott, on May 14, 1960, in Transfer, PA. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and enduring faith. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nancy; his children: Terri L. Lindstrom (Ed) of Corry, PA, Paula D. Kraft of North East, PA, and Richard P. Wolcott (Tammy) of North Platte, NE; and a brother-in-law, Bill Suddoth of Greenville, PA. Paul was a proud grandfather to John, Heather, Matthew, Timothy, Stephanie, Allyson, Daniel, Elizabeth (Eric), Jessica (Gage), Holly (Quintan), Lea, and Paige. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Kayson, Ryleigh, Everly, and two more expected soon. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members also survive him and will fondly remember his love, stories, and laughter. Paul's life was defined by his deep devotion to his family. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. After moving to Union City, PA in 1961 and later settling in Harborcreek in 1974, Paul worked for over four decades as a skilled machinist at General Electric (1961–2002). Earlier in life, he also drove a feed truck for Altman's Feed Mill in Transfer, PA. In later years, he served his community as a Judge of Elections for Harborcreek Township. Paul had a passion for the outdoors and sports. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, and he never missed a Cleveland Indians game or the Little League World Series. A proud Penn State football fan, he also enjoyed bowling-earning many trophies in his younger years and was an avid bowler for many years at Eastway Lanes. Paul and Nancy loved to travel and visited 46 of the 50 U.S. states, along with Canada and Mexico, often traveling by car or motor home with friends and family. His gentle spirit, deep love, and ever-present humor will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd.) on Monday, August 4th from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at 4:30 PM, to be officiated by Rev. J. Tim Hoover of South Harborcreek United Methodist Church. Paul will be laid to rest on Tuesday at 11 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hermitage, PA. Condolences may be offered at www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
