Loving wife, mother and Nana, Paula Hill ran into the arms of her savior Jesus Christ, on March 25, 2025. She was born in Wichita Falls on August 25, 1953 to Jimmie and Patsy McGhee. Paula passed peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.
Paula met the love of her life and married Alvin Hill on November 20, 1971 and spent 53 wonderful years together. They had two children Kris and Jamie. Paula worked as a teacher at Wichita Christian for many years and then as an office manager until she retired. She loved and adored her grandsons, always supporting them in everything they did. She traveled far and wide watching them play football and baseball and was their biggest supporter. She loved cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother Patsy McGhee and son Kris Hill.
She is survived by her husband Alvin Hill, Father Jimmie McGhee, Mother-in-law Ailene Prestage, Daughter Jamie Gafford and husband Justin. Brothers Steve and Suzy McGhee, Robert and Yvonne McGhee, Sister in laws Dianna Reilly, Janece Jebe and husband Fred, Donna Spangler and husband Conrad, Brother in law Dennis Hatfield and wife Tara, Grandsons Kaleb Gafford and fiancé Emily, Karter Hill, and Adam Hill, Great Grandsons Baylor and Lane.
