Paula J. Maddock

Paula Jean (O'Donnell) Maddock, age 69, of Bridgewater, MA, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 7, 1955, in Milton, MA, Paula was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Grace O'Donnell. She was a proud graduate of Avon High School, Class of 1974, where she met the love of her life, Harold "Hal" Maddock. The couple celebrated 49 wonderful years of marriage and created a beautiful life together in Bridgewater, where they raised their two children.
Paula devoted 31 years of her life as a full-time teacher's aide in the Bridgewater School System. Paula's greatest joys were spending summers on Cape Cod and doting on her grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob, who brought her endless happiness.
Paula is survived by her beloved husband, Hal Maddock; her daughter, Kelly Cook, and her husband, Peter of Jupiter, FL; her son, Bob Maddock, and his wife, Sarah of Raynham, MA; and her adored grandsons, Ryan and Jacob Maddock. She was the loving sister of Robert O'Donnell and his wife, Suzanne, of Marshfield; Grace Burstein of Plymouth and her late husband, Werner; Patrick O'Donnell and his wife, Jane, of Westwood; The late Kenneth O'Donnell and his wife Denise, of Bridgewater, and the late Richard O'Donnell. She was a devoted aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will forever cherish her memory.
Family and friends are cordially invited to pay their respects at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, on Tuesday, January 7, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater.
