I am the mom of a Neuqua student, Gabrielle, who graduated in 2022. A few months before, I was at Neuqua's nearby public library waiting for my daughter, who was studying with classmates. At some point, she joined me and started getting ready to leave, when her favorite teacher, Paula Mueller, came to my table. She introduced herself, hugged me, and congratulated me for raising such a great daughter. I was speechless and so moved by her kindness that this memory will stick with me forever. As for my daughter, she will always be grateful to her. Mrs. Mueller was enthusiastic and supportive of her many initiatives and projects. My husband and I are all well aware of the fact that our daughter was accepted to an amazing international college program thanks to Neuqua teachers, especially Mrs. Mueller, who knew how to support and love their students. We were heartbroken beyond words to hear of her passing. Our condolences to her family and friends.

I met Paula through Science Olympiad. Her hard work in providing opportunities to students persuing an interest in Science is priceless. She is so appreciated. My heartfelt condolences to Paula's friends & family.
