Paula Lynn Stephens departed this life for Heavenly home February 2, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paula was born in McCreary Co, on March 23, 1962, to Lenville Perry (deceased) and Pauline "Faye" Hatfield. Sister to Sebrena Ball, Charles Perry (deceased), Page Bryant, and JoJo Stephens. She was a beloved wife to Mike Stephens for 47 years. A cherished mother to Michael Paul Stephens and Stacey Tucker (Bill), and an amazing nannie to her grandchildren Austin and Brady Tucker and Kaylynn Stephens.
Paula lived a life of love and service. To know her was to love her. She was devoted to family first and foremost. She had an uncanny ability of reaching people with her words. She was founder of Moonshiners Run Car show. She enjoyed genealogy and ran a page called "Families of McCreary Co past and present". In her spare time, she loved quilting, teaching crafting, and making floral arrangements, and a car enthusiast.
A beautiful soul taken to soon. She will be forever missed.
Funeral services will be held 3pm Monday, February 6, 2023, at the McCreary County Funeral Home with President Shane Fisk officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
