Paula (Scully) Tucker, 76, of Springfield, beloved wife of Robert Tucker, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025. Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie (Premo) Scully of East Longmeadow. Over the course of her career, Paula served as a teacher at Minnechaug High School in Wilbraham, as a social worker for the City of Springfield, as a manager at the Springfield Department of Social Services, and as a therapist. She always strived to help people, especially children. Along with her husband, Paula is survived by her son, Dennis & his wife Marie (Manley) Tucker, grandchild, Maz Tucker, and Bob & Paula's beloved dogs, Mr. Whiskers and Cuddles. All are cordially invited to attend Paula's graveside funeral service, officiated by Beth Chase, Pastoral Minister of St. Michael's Parish East Longmeadow, on Friday, June 27th, 10:30 a.m., at St. Michael's Cemetery, St. Timothy section, 1601 State Street in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, 66 Industry Ave., Suite 3, Springfield, MA 01104. I was sad to hear of my cousin Paula´s passing. She was my godmother as well as my relative. She loved her family and lived life to the fullest. I´ll always have beautiful memories of her.
