Paulann N. (Stanley) Kay-52, of Medfield, Passed away on March 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Gregory Kay and the loving mother to her boys, Eddie and Billy.
Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of Paul and Helen (Hession) Stanley of Yarmouth
Paula also leaves behind her dear sisters, Christine Ayotte and her husband Darren of Norton, MA, and Celina Humphrey and her husband Michael of Dedham, MA as well as her mother-in-law, Dorothy (McDonough) Kay, and was predeceased by her father-in-law, Edward Kay of Scituate, MA., brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jeffrey and Amy Kay of Greer, SC, Douglas and Amy Kay of Medfield, MA, and Sean and Kait Kay of Medfield, MA. She was a beloved Aunt to Jacqueline, Christopher, Colin, Moira, Morgan, Tyler, Olivia, Piper, Eliza, and Tessa.
She was raised in Walpole, MA, and graduated from Walpole High School in 1990. She went on to pursue a career in radiology, earning her degree from Mass Bay Community College in 1992. She furthered her education in MRI technology at Massasoit Community College and later studied at Rhode Island College.
Paula dedicated many years to the field of radiology, working in X-ray and MRI at several of Boston's leading hospitals. She was known not only for her expertise but also for her compassionate approach, helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their procedures.
Beyond her career, Paula's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved traveling, particularly to the warm beaches of Key West and Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Cape Cod, where she found peace in the sun and ocean breeze. She also enjoyed exploring Europe with her family, often planning trips around The Rolling Stones concerts, a band she adored. A passionate fan of the Bruins and Patriots, she attended many games, cheering for her teams with enthusiasm. She also cherished quiet evenings around the firepit, sharing conversations and laughter with family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paula's life at a visitation on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 15 Miller Street, Medfield, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring Street, Medfield, MA. Interment will follow at Vine Lake Cemetery, 625 Main Street, Medfield, MA.
Paula will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her warmth, kindness, and spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
