Paulett A. Goho, 77, of Canton, passed away peacefully at her residence while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 4, 2025, one day shy of turning 78. Paulett Alice was born August 5, 1947, in Canton, daughter to the late Paul and Bessie (Margosh) Kelley. She was a graduate of Canton High School and most recently was a waitress at Troy lunch. For many years, Paulett served customers until her health began to decline, and she was no longer able to work. She cherished the owners at the time, Daisy and Harry, and her regular customers too, so much that she considered them family. On July 17, 2008, Paulett married her true soulmate in Elmira, Michael Goho and together they shared 17 wonderful years.

Paulett was a talented baker, and enjoyed motorcycling, reading, dancing, karaoke and life itself. Her club memberships included Canton Women of the Moose, the VFW in Canton, and the American Legions in both Canton and Morris Run. She was a very sociable person and could lift anyone's spirits. However, she treasured her family above all and her love for them was most important in her life.

Besides her husband Michael, Paulett leaves behind her children; Lee Paul (Dorothy) Rusk and Mariette Hartford (Richard Heffner), both of Canton; Michelle (Hakeem) Abukari and Michael Conley, both of Virginia; Raymond (AJ) Putman of Wellsville, NY, and William (Lisa) Putman of Florida; grandchildren; Shane Wilber, Lucas Wilber, Trever Hartford, Kaleb Hartford, Hunter Hartford, Kalila Abukari, Azara Abukari, Malia Abukari, Bethanny Cross, and Brockton Putman; great grandchildren; Noah Hartford and Anatasia Putman, as well as, special nieces Gail Bruce and Connie Ellen Chilson, other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.

Besides her parents, Paulett was predeceased by siblings Betty Gray, Mariette Greenough, William Blaney, Lillian Yaggie, Denny Lee Blaney and grandmother, Alice Kelley.

In keeping with Paulett's wishes, services will be private, and a celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paulett's memory may be sent to an animal rescue of your choice or Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516.
