Paulette McFarlane, affectionately known as "Sippy". She was the fourth child of Lester and Elmazena McFarlane, born on June 17, 1956, in Westmoreland, Jamaica, W.I. Paulette was educated at the Petersfield Secondary School.
She migrated to the United States of America in 1990 to join her parents and sisters.
While here, Paulette began working at the then Genesee Hospital and Highland Hospital as a CNA for over twenty years until her retirement.
Sometime along the way she met the love of her life, Charles Smith, the two have built a beautiful life for the last thirty years. During this time, Paulette enjoyed reading her Bible, housekeeping, cooking and home crafts. Above all she was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
Predeceased by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by brother, Dennis McFarlane; sister, Yvonne Lyons; companion, Charles Smith; niece, Rebecca Hillig; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
