Obituary of Pauline Lippa Stearns
Stearns, Pauline Lippa "Paula" of Irondequoit passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Paula was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary (Bianchi) Lippa, brother-in-law, Giacomo Borrelli and her dearest cousin, Mary Ann Palozzi. Paula is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Samuel G. Stearns. Son, Richard (Kaylee) Stearns. Siblings, Angela Borrelli, Severino (Colleen) Lippa, and Victoria (Ernest) Delisanti. Grandchildren, Calder Stearns and Cooper Stearns. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paula was born on May 16, 1939 in Rochester, NY. Paula graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School and then went to work for Columbia Bank and retired with over 30 years of dedicated services. In her free time, Paula enjoyed cooking, cheering on her beloved NY Yankees but she always cherished the time she spent with her family and especially her two grandchildren.
Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 10AM at St. Ambrose Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
