Pauline Ruth Watterson, 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Concord Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on September 20, 1931, in Penacook, NH. She was the daughter of the late Douglas “Alfred” and Mary (Noe) Watterson.
Pauline graduated from Penacook High School. She worked at Hoyt Electrical for 53 years before retiring.
Pauline was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish. Pauline enjoyed working in her flower garden and watching the birds. Pauline was an avid cat and dog lover, enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles. She loved watching Days of Our Lives, Cobra Kai and game shows. She enjoyed going on day trips, shopping, and family days at the lake. Pauline biggest love was spending time with her family and her beloved dog Peaches.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents and her four sisters Dorothy (Raymond) Auprey, Carol (Carl) Spooner, June (Wendell) Matott and Coramae Ballou. She was also predeceased by her nephews Douglas Auprey Sr., Anthony Braley, Pete Ballou Jr. and Daniel Shedd.
She is survived by and well loved by many nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful Aunt who will be missed dearly by family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00am followed by a small service at 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King St., Boscawen, NH. After the service family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the American Legion on Charles Street in Penacook.
