Pearl Dean Howard

Pearl Dean Howard, 93, of Norman passed away Saturday, October 25th, 2025. She was born August 16th, 1932, in St. Louis, Oklahoma, to Alva Chester Martin and Olive Lucille (Walden) Martin.

She and her first husband owned a five and dime shop. Dean square danced with several clubs in Norman and surrounding areas. She sold real estate for many years. Dean was a surgical nurse for years. As well as working as a nurse at a rehabilitation center in Norman. She was a long-standing member of the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ in Norman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both her husbands, Alvin Eugene Norton and Roy Howard; and her daughters, Viola Lucille Burke and Renora Lucine Wagner. Dean is survived by her grandchildren Robin Wagner (Teresa), Selena Belvin (Kelly), Kyle Burke (Kayla) and Tamara Banks (Chris); great-grandchildren, Taran Wagner, Kira Burke, David Reese Jernigen, Kylie Burke, Anthony Banks, Kamryn Burke, Hunter Banks and Phoebe Burke; and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be present for visitation at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, November 7th, 2025. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00AM, Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Kessler officiating, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman with interment following at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Norman.
