Pearl Rieger Obituary

Born in Fairton to the late John H. Borchers and Rhoda Welden Borchers, she was the wife of the late C. Kenneth Rieger. Pearl had been a lifetime resident of Fairfield Twp.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with the Cumberland County Clerks office for 20 years. Before that, Pearl had served as the clerk and registrar for Fairfield Twp. She attended Fairton Christian Center faithfully for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, crocheting, ceramics and puzzles. She was also an avid cat lover.
She is survived by two sons, Charles K. (Chuck) Rieger, Jr. and William T. Rieger both of Fairfield Twp.; three siblings, John Borchers of OH, Rhoda Connor of Fairton and Gia Blizzard of Newport; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Kenneth Rieger and four siblings, Edwin Borchers, Garvin Borchers, Wayne Hanby and Anna Duffield.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17th at the Fairton Christian Center, 199 Fairton Millville Rd., Bridgeton at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services.
