Peggy Billger Obituary

Peggy was born on September 27, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, to Thomas and Margaret Capper. She graduated from St. Hubert's High School in 1963 and then went on to complete her education at Philadelphia School of Business. In 1969, Peggy married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Billger and had two children. They were happily married for the next 53 years. Then in 1988, Peggy moved to Howell, MI with her family where she accepted a position as a Data Entry Clerk for Vandenberg Bulb for more than 20 years.
Peggy was a true animal lover, caring for over 20 fur babies throughout her life. She loved to travel and spend her free time gardening but her favorite was being "Nana" to Eliana, Nathan, Benjamin, and Tyler. Her family and friends will always remember her as a sweet, caring soul and a giving person. There was, without a doubt, congestion on the Rainbow Bridge as her many fur babies rushed to greet her and welcome her to Heaven.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert "Bob" Billger of Howell, MI; her daughter, Michelle (fiancée Geary Hanson) Billger of Warren, MI; her son, Christopher (Melissa) of Grand Rapids, MI; her grandchildren, Eliana, Nathan, Benjamin, and Tyler; her brother, Thomas (Kitty) Capper; her sister, Joanne (Chuck) Behm; sister-in-law, Floss Billger; and several nieces and nephews.. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Capper, of Cape Coral, FL.
A visitation will be held for Peggy on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 3-7pm with a rosary at 6:30pm at the MacDonald Chapel, 315 N. Michigan Ave, Howell, MI. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30am with visitation at 9:30am on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 425 E. Washington St., Howell, MI 48843. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Howell.
