Peggy Joyce Dixon, 84, passed away at her residence in Lakeland on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Born in Alabama to Erasmus and Viola (Bradley) Britt on November 5, 1940, she has resided in Florida for most of her life, around 65 years. Peggy loved going to the movies and above all else, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Northside Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Peggy is survived by four children: daughter Donna (Phillip) Butler and sons Randy Dixon, Kelvin (Svetlana) Dixon, and Kenny Dixon. She is also survived by sister Mary Elizabeth Beck, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Northside Baptist Church, 3131 Duff Road, Lakeland.

I am deeply sadden at this news, Peggy was an amazing lady who touched my heart and life depot over the years. May you rejoice in Heaven my sweet friend z until we meet again.

I´m so deeply devastated to lose my grandmother unexpectedly I know she´s looking down on my children and I.. she was a strong woman to beat cancer and still enjoyed life she will all ways be in my heart forever and always
