Peggy King, 78, of Conway, AR was called home to the Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2024. 

Peggy dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her children, grandchildren and her devoted husband, Daryl, of 38 years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Lear Russell; three brothers, Pete, Charles, and Alex Russell; six sisters, Loraine Cheathem, Jeanette Clem, Sue McCurdy, Charlotte Hunt, Irene Hill, and Mary Love.  

She is survived by loving husband, Daryl King of Conway, AR; her daughters and sons-in-law Shala and Jerry Dale Heffington of Conway, AR and Tabbetha King of Beebe, AR and Nicholas Jenkins of Lonoke, AR; and son, Wayne King of Beebe, AR; as well as three more children of Arkansas; grandsons, Mason, Wyatt, and Caden; granddaughters, Jade, DeLainey, Porsche and Olivia; sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Ballantine, and Pat Johnson of Ozark, AL; many dear nieces and nephews both near and far and a host of loved ones.  

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, AR. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 am, prior to the service. Interment will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 pm Thursday.
