Peggy M. Samples

Peggy M. Samples, 83, of Cumming passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. Born November 19th, 1941 in Forsyth County, Georgia to the late Amos and Dessie Martin. She lived most of her life in Forsyth County. A homemaker at death, she was formerly employed by Norwood Basket Company, Lad and Dads, and Otwell Middle School in Cumming, Georgia. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling across the United States with husband and family. A member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church, she was proceeded in death by her brother Major Martin.

Surviving is her husband; Mr. Harold Samples; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Susan Samples of Grayson; her daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Jamie Raper of Cumming; grandchildren, Avery and Riley Samples, Lydia and Carsten Raper; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8, and once again on Friday, April 4th. 2025 from noon until the time of service. at Ingram Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2 o’clock at Ingrams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Keith Martin, Rev. Jamie Raper, and Rev. Gary Martin will officiate. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Baptist Cemetery.
