Peggy Stone, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 11. She was born on December 2, 1951, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Carl and Edna Nadine Buck. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Buck and an infant sister, Margaret Ann.
Peggy was married for 52 years to her husband, John Stone. Together, they built a life filled with meaningful moments. She was the proud mother of Kelly (Kevin) Redford and Holly (Brad) Kemp. She was a remarkable mother, whose boundless love, gentle wisdom, and selfless devotion were the heart of her family and the foundation of their lives.
Her grandchildren, Isabelle (Jack) Leake, John Redford, and Olivia Kemp were a source of immense joy to her. Peggy cherished the time spent with them and spoke of them with great pride.
Other survivors include her sister, Paulette (Robert), Cottrell; sister-n-law, Sandy (Brian) Buck Spurgin; and many nieces and nephews.
Outside of family, Peggy enjoyed volunteering at her church, taking road trips, and sewing projects. Yet, it was her love for the Lord and her family that was always at the center of her world. Her warm and nurturing nature left a lasting impact on those around her.
Peggy's memory will be carried on through her children and grandchildren, as well as all who had the honor of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Oh Peggy. You are sorely-missed. You brightened my life during your time working at the toy store in Kansas! You were a great encouragement to my daughter, too!

What a generous, common-sense, loving soul! I hope to renew our friendship in our Father's house someday! Love to your family as they absorb this loss!

We got to be good friends with Peggy through church and our young adult Sunday school class. We had such close friendships we met several times a month with fellowship , food always, fun games and Bible lessons discussed. Wild group. Had a recent reunion and so thankful Peggy and John came. Enjoy your new home Peggy. You are in great company. We will miss you.
