68, passed away August 2, 2025. Scott was born on March 12,1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Walter E. and Marjorie R. Anderson. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Todd R. Anderson.

Scott has been active in sports all his life. He played baseball in grade school. In high school, he was the student trainer for the Arlington High School Basketball team that won Regionals.

After graduating from Arlington High School, Indianapolis, Indiana, Scott attended Ball State University graduating in 1979 with a B.A. in Accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant and worked for the FDIC as a Bank Examiner covering the state of Indiana until retirement.

Racing got into Scott's blood after meeting Johnny Parsons Jr. and decided to own a Midget Race car team. Scott and John Black had several drivers including Jimmy Kite, Kevin Olson and too many more to name.

After Midget racing, Scott got involved with photographing the Indianapolis 500 and The Brickyard 400 and was a member of the well-known The Third Turn Society.

His group traveled to Cozumel, Hawaii, Roatan, Bonaire, Puerto Morales, Aruba, St. Thomas, St. Martin and St. Croix. His underwater pictures are amazing!

Scott's wish is that his cremated remains be put in the ocean. His turtle shaped urn is biodegradable. Dianne Kyle and his diving group will help with the underwater inurnment.

Scott was also active volunteering with Habitat for Humanity as a Board of Directors member and building homes. He got great satisfaction in helping someone into a home. He loved to build Mini-Bams. His Tiger team has dedicated one wall of drywall in his honor.
