Pennie Jean Meisner, 70, of Greeley, died Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Pennie was born on April 29, 1955 to Ross Miller and Shirley Edwards. She participated in many different things while she was younger like barrel racing horses and graduated from Wiggins High School in 1973. She then moved to Greeley where she worked diligently as a mother and homemaker; working several part-time jobs when she could. She then got a full-time job working for Hewlett Packard from which she retired after many dedicated years.
On June 8, 1974 she married the love of her life, Steven Dean Meisner at the Wiggins Community Church.
Pennie loved sewing, completing puzzles, reading, cooking, gardening, animals, cruising in the Chevelle with her husband, and spending time with her loved ones. She especially
loved her many dogs and hedgehog. She was loving and understanding; always opening up her home to people who needed a safe haven.
Pennie is survived by her son, Chris Meisner; granddaughter, Alyssa Hobbs; grandson, Devon Meisner; and extended family, friends, and a long list of neighborhood children who she called her own.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Meisner-Hobbs; husband, Steven Meisner; and her parents.

Pennie I am glad you are no longer in pain. I am so glad I got to spend time with you a few months ago. Boy am I going to miss you. Chris I know how hard this is for you but always remember I am here for you at any time. You did a fantastic job of taking care of your mom. My prayers and sympathy go out to you and the family.
