Penny Deanne Truelove, 46, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. She was born on February 1, 1978, in Cleveland to William and Geraldine Truelove. Penny was the third child born to her parents and was the little girl they had been praying to have. She instantly brought joy and happiness to her mother who had been wishing for a daughter.
Penny was a little sister, daughter, and a loyal friend to many in her life. This was a role she played in life until Penny too became a mom of two beautiful daughters. Penny never chose a career path but instead decided to be a homemaker and pour all her time, love, and energy into raising her two girls. The way she always had her daughters' backs, no matter the situation, was the exact way she was to her friends and family. If you had made your way into Penny's heart, she would fight for you and hold your spot forever.
Penny became a "Nene" when she was blessed with her first grandson, later having three more grandchildren. Penny was filled with pride calling her children and grandchildren her greatest accomplishment. She loved all her children with the same dedication and passion that her mother had shown her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Truelove; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her father, William Truelove; two daughters, Hannah Boyd, and Maliyah Boyd; four grandchildren; and her two brothers, Mark Truelove, and Brian Truelove; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee.
