Peny Mitchell Obituary

Peny was a force of nature. Funny, spunky, and full of life, she had a way of lighting up any room she walked into. Her sense of humor could make us laugh even in the hardest moments, and being around her reminded us that life should always be lived with courage and joy.
Her faith was her foundation. She lived every day with a strong sense of devotion and trust in God, and she carried that faith into everything she did-guiding our family with wisdom, compassion, and grace.
"Having given my life to my Savior, Jesus Christ years ago, I can say my truth. As you read this notice of my earthly death, I've moved from the land of the dying to the land of the living.
Same person - different address! Your soul is eternal my friends. All praises and glory to Jesus Christ our Lord."
Friends received Wednesday August 20th from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at Simons Funeral Home, 7720 Perry Highway,
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, 11:00 am, at the funeral home.
