Per Inge "Pete" Volden was born in Norway in Northern Europe. When Pete was 24 years old he immigrated to the United States.
He made a living driving truck for Consolidated Freight Lines. He retired with 4 million miles of driving.
Pete built a small, cozy home on the west side of North Platte, Nebraska. When he was 41 years old he met Isabelle Fehringer, the love of his life. They were married on December 6th, 1975.
During their 50 years of marriage, Pete and Isabelle loved to travel. They traveled back to Pete's home country of Norway several times and many other places all over the world.
Pete is survived by his wife, Isabelle Volden, sisters-in-law Anna Curtis, Mary Deweese, Joann Fehringer; brothers-in-law Leonard Fehringer and wife Harriet, Paul Fehringer and wife Peggy; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his family in Norway and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I had lost track of you but have fond memories of times together. I no longer drive and my eyesight is greatly diminished. I still live at home with some help. Again our sympathies.
