Perry Leonard Kyle, 56, of
High Point, North Carolina, entered his eternal home on November 6, 2025 surrounded by his wife and children.
Born on May 24, 1969, Perry was a lifelong resident of High Point. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Jerry Kyle; his mother-in-law, Ava Beenen; his father-in-law, John Beenen; his brother-in-law, John Beenen Jr.; and his niece, Stephanie Douglas.
Perry is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Trish Kyle; and by his cherished children, Madison McGee and husband Seth, Taylor Kyle, Jackson Kyle, and Walker Kyle; by his mother, Mary Lou Kyle and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first grandchild, a grandson, Lucas McGee.
He is also survived by his sisters, Kim Douglas and husband Bill, and Amy Kyle Goodman and husband Lee; by his sisters-in-law, Pamela Beenen, Jennifer Enoch and husband Ken, and Mandy Beenen; along with nieces and nephews, Sidney Wolfe and husband Gray, and their children, Oakley and Easton; Melissa Douglas, James Reid, Hannah Reid, Ben Reid, Jasmine Beenen, Gerrit Beenen, Morgan Beenen, and Matthew Beenen.
Perry was a graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High School in High Point, Class of 1987, and earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of Charleston in 1992. Perry was a proud member of the soccer communities in High Point and Charleston. His passion for soccer never faded; he played for much of his life, loved nothing more than watching his children take the field, and treasured the lifelong friendships he made through the game. His favorite part of the day was the quiet mornings spent reading the Bible with a cup of coffee. He also enjoyed playing pickleball, racquetball, Wordle, and walking with his dog, Wink.
A man of deep faith and kindness, Perry was a member of Wesley Memorial Church in High Point, where he faithfully worshipped. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life, and it was his heartfelt desire that all would come to know the same hope he held dear.
Perry cherished time with family and friends. He often shared fond memories of childhood trips to Maryland's Eastern Shore and treasured many joyful days spent with loved ones at Ocean Isle Beach. Known for his humor, warmth, and unwavering loyalty, Perry was a steadfast friend and a constant source of love and encouragement to those blessed to know him.
A service to celebrate Perry's life will be held at 2pm on December 6th in the sanctuary of Wesley Memorial Church in High Point. The family will receive friends following the service in the Asbury Room.
