Perry Stevens Obituary
Perry Dean Stevens, 87, of French Lick, passed on July 23 at his home in French Lick, Indiana. He was born August 25,1936 in Dubois, Indiana, to Perry Franklin Stevens and Bertie Bell Harris, both of whom preceded him. He was also preceded by brothers: Floyd, Bill, Ernie, Kenny, and Robert Lee Stevens, and sisters: Ruby Qualkenbush, Opal Burton, and Mary Oakley. He married Janet Sue Pieper on July 10, 1957, and she survives.
Perry retired from the Town of French Lick where he worked in wastewater management.
After retiring, he worked for 15 years at French Lick Resort first as a carriage driver, and later at the Donald Ross and Pete Dye golf courses.
He was also a volunteer fire fighter for several years with West Baden Fire Department.
Perry enjoyed spending time visiting with his family and friends.
In his spare time, he also enjoyed hunting rabbit and turtles, fishing, and playing golf.

11 Grandchildren:
Danny, Jeremy, Megan, Courtney, Missy, Tiffany, Cory, Nikki, Kord, Shelby, and Cara.
23 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, Indiana.
Cremation to follow.
