Perry Allen Thomason

Perry Allen Thomason, age 61, a resident of Lynnville, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at his residence. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Born on December 10, 1963 in Tacoma, Washington, Perry was the son of the late Houston Thomason Jr. and Dorothy Thomason. Perry had a passion for farming and working the land. He especially enjoyed working the fields with his dear friend Roger. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music, shooting his firearms, riding his tractor, and anything western. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed all the time he spent at the stockyard with his friends, while enjoying a Pepsi. He was an avid story teller and as far-fetched as some may have seemed, they were all true. He had a laid back personality and made friends quickly with anyone he spoke to. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Ashley (Trint) Cotham and Kristie (Dwayne) Glass, his brother, Kenny Thomason, sister, Sonia Thomason-Fernett, his grandchildren, Jayden Cotham, Bryson, Bryleigh, Kyleigh, Jenson, Alyssa, Reagan, and Titus. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his care team at Gentiva hospice. The family requests that no cemetery flowers be sent, however, all other flowers are welcome.
