Pete Rokich Obituary
Our beloved father, brother, and friend, Peter Rokich passed away on January 24th, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah. Peter was born on March 5th, 1965, in Salt Lake City to Pete and Laurel Rokich. He married Dannette Powell on January 20th, 1989.
Peter graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1983 and went on to become a student athlete at the University of Notre Dame from 1983-1988. He worked for Yellow-Roadway Corporation for 32 years from 1988-2020 and then at ABF for the remainder of his life as a labor relations manager. He enjoyed hunting, extended fishing trips with his son, and gardening in the family greenhouse.
He is survived by his wife, Dannette; sister, Paula (Jay) Martin; daughter, Kelsey Rokich; son, Cameron (Ivy) Rokich; nephew, Jason (Lisa) Martin; great-nephew, Lukas and great-niece, Charlotte. Preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Laurel.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday January 29th at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Magna, UT.
