Peter L. Jenner

Always the optimist, Peter Jenner approached every day with a sense of adventure. He loved, in no particular order, photography, travel, sailing, his Australian roots, food of all kinds, wine, genealogy, dark chocolate, meeting new people, reading, friends, ballet and music. Above all, he loved his family and was thrilled to spend his recent 88th birthday with his daughters and their families. He is survived by his wife, Carolin Catalano, five daughters, Mary Colatrella, Nancy Jenner, Dr. Jo Jenner, Dr. Annette Jenner-Mathews and Margaret Rudolph, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his brother John Jenner and his sister Kitsie Demeree, His first wife, Joan Bergmaier Jenner died in 2002. He lived for the last 30 years in Gloucester where he made many friends. He was a member of the Rotary Club, and an active volunteer at the library and senior center. Happy until the end, he passed peacefully on July 5. Visiting hours are at the Pike-Newhall Funeral Home, 61 Middle St. Gloucester on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2018 from 4-7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Funeral Service will be held privately with family on a sunset sail on the Schooner Thomas E. Lannon.
