Philip Drucker, 92, passed away on December 15, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was born in Manhattan on February 25, 1931 to the late Jacob and Alice (Feiner) Drucker. On October 23, 1993 in Yonkers, NY, he married his beloved wife Mildred (Mauro) Drucker. Mildred survives at home.
For over 30 years, Philip worked as a supervisor at AT&T. He loved his wife Mildred and enjoyed going out dancing with her and their friends. He was an avid tennis player, and played singles until he was 75! He was a wonderful musician and he played saxophone in a band as a teenager. He was very talented at piano and played guitar as well. He loved teaching his grandchildren to play and enjoy music at a young age. Phil taught Danielle to play piano and took her for music lessons. He also took Jojo for guitar lessons. He took Stephanie to the library every week and spent countless hours at Build-A-Bear with her. He never grew tired of taking the training wheels off her bike and putting them back on. He was a wonderful grandfather. He taught his grandchildren to ride bikes, play tennis, and swim. Spending time with his grandchildren was something Philip truly cherished. He was very devoted to them.
In addition to his loving wife Mildred, Philip is survived by his beloved grandchildren: Danielle Duarte and her husband Elizer, Joseph DeLuca, and Stephanie DeLuca; his brother Solly Drucker and his wife Doris; his daughter-in-law Deborah Kopfensteiner; his son-in-law David Mucci; as well as his nieces and grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday December 23, 2023 from 10-1 pm, with a service at 12:30 pm, at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY, followed by entombment at the Rosewood Mausoleum at Ferncliff Cemetery 280 Secor Rd. Hartsdale, NY.
