Philip Martin Rogers, 38, of Cambridge, MD, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born on August 25, 1983, in Wharton, TX. Philip was a faithful and hardworking employee of Walmart in Cambridge, MD for 18 years. You could often find him in Lawn and Garden or Toys, but the later was his passion. Philip graduated from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in 2002. He attended Church of the Nazarene where many were friends and his church family.
Eating out for breakfast or going to the movies rated top on Philip's favorite things to do. He loved to draw and learn new things, collect the latest video game, and talk to family on the phone. Philip made you laugh and look at the world differently. He smiled often and loved deeply. It is only for a moment that we who are still here will mourn for we know that the doors of Heaven have been opened to Philip. The grave is passed through and resurrection hope brings life and joy because of Jesus.
He is survived by his father Ray Martin Rogers and his stepmother Linda Rogers; his sister Ruth Robbins and her husband Chris Robbins along with their sons, Ty, Toby, Levi, and Seth Robbins. Philip was preceded in death by his mother Sydney Rogers; grandparents Sydney and Ada Segall and Martin and Ruth Rogers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 28, 2021, with viewing at 10 am followed by the service at 11 am at Rockawalkin UMC in Hebron, MD. Any memorials can be given to Church of the Nazarene in Cambridge, MD or Rockawalkin UMC in Hebron, MD in Philip's honor.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804. Friends may share memories/condolences with the family at www.hollowayfh.com. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Philip Martin Rogers please visit our Tribute Store.
