In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant son, Edward Seil on February 25, 1959.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his wife of 66 1/2 years, Barbara Seil; children, Helen (Brian) Dunlap and Lisa (Mark) Bowers; grandchildren, Denise Murtz (Eric Beck), Travis Dunlap, Sydney (Ryan) Podolski, Nicole (Steven) Kowalski, Jaklyn (Andrew) Wagner, great-grandchildren, Joshua Murtz, Matthew Murtz, Parker Kowalski, Josephine Kowalski; as well as other extended family members and friends.
Friends and Family may gather on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070). A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM on Friday, December 22, 2023. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Section 1-E.

My condolences to the Seil family. Mr. Seil was a pillar in the Broadview Heights community and a wonderful neighbor to those who lived in the Briarwood Estates. As the proprietor of a Shell gas station, he provided many Brecksville High School students with a job, and he was instrumental in growing the sport of futbol (soccer) in Broadview Heights. May he now be at rest and peace in the arms of Jesus enjoying the fruits of his earthly labor. May God's love be of comfort to his family and friends at this time.
