Phillip O. Frost, 82 of South Dayton, NY entered into rest September 26, 2021
He was born March 31, 1939 in Gowanda, NY to Orvis and Helen (Wienk) Frost
After high school Phillip worked for the Cattaraugus County Highway department. This is where he learned some of his trades. Carpentry, Construction and he also obtained his CDL License to drive the construction and snow removal vehicles. After working for Cattaraugus County Phillip opened his own business. P.O. Frost Building and Remodeling which he ran for over 50 years.
He was a huge sports fan. His #1 team was the Buffalo Bills, his 2nd team was the NY Giants and he also loved the New York Yankees. Phillip was also a big NASCAR, Dirt Track car racing and March Madness fan. His hobbies were hunting, camping and he used to be great on roller skates.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife Linda (Spaulding) Frost, his children Terry (Amy) Lilienthal, Randy (Linda) Lilienthal, Keith (Martina) Mitchell, Kimberly (Matthew) Reed, Wendy (Aaron) Huber, Christine (John) Koch and Joseph (Wendy) Mitchell; a daughter in law Doreen Frost 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a special nephew Daniel Traber and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Phillip was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Valentine) Frost, two children Barry Frost and Pamela Daniels and one grandchild.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners, South Dayton Thursday September 30th from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM where a service will be held Friday October 1st at 11AM with Pastor William Kenna officiating.
Interment will be in Cottage Cemetery
